The accommodation comprises of an attractive double frontage with lawned area surrounded by picket fence, and gate leading along a pathway to the front porch. The entrance hallway is light and spacious with hallway radiator. The spacious front sitting room has two sofa’s (one being a double bed settee for additional sleeping capacity), comfy armchair and two coffee tables. There is a Television, Satellite Freeview Box, Video and DVD player and CD music system, as well as board games and books. The ‘Shaker’ style kitchen is equipped with electric oven, gas hob and extractor, microwave, washing machine, ironing board and iron and full size fridge/freezer. A newly installed combination gas boiler provides constant hot water and full central heating when required each room having a radiator with thermostat. The kitchen has a table and chairs for up to six people, as well as a high chair, and is well equipped with utensils for self catering purposes. A door from the kitchen leads to a rear sun terrace and courtyard with outdoor tables and chairs for eating ‘al fresco’. The double bedroom at the front of the property has a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table, stool and wardrobe. At the rear of the property is the second bedroom which has adult-size bunk beds, bedside lights and tables, chest of drawers and wardrobe. The bedroom has been decorated to a nautical theme and has a supply of children’s books. The bathroom, entered from the hallway, is very spacious with bath, toilet, pedestal wash hand basin with large mirror and shaver light and power, a large heated towel rail and fully tiled shower cubicle with glass door. All bed linen duvets, pillows and towels, apart from beach towels are provided. All electricity and gas including central heating is provided free of charge. No smoking is permitted inside the property. Children are most welcome but pets are not allowed. A deposit of £100.00 is required to secure a booking; this is held as a deposit against any loss or damage to the property and is returned within 7 days of satisfactory vacation of the accommodation. Full payment for use of the accommodation is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. Arrival times are no earlier than 3.00pm and vacation of property no later than 10.00 am. Bookings are usually on a Saturday to Saturday basis.
During periods when the property is not being used for self-catering lets, it is also available on a nightly room basis. Rates are £30 per night for one person or £25 per night per person for groups of two to six people. This price includes private bathroom with towels provided and full use of the lounge and kitchen facilities with cereals, milk, bread, conserves, tea, coffee etc provided. Visitors are expected to clean and clear away any kitchen items used. The owner’s property is adjacent and Mrs Seymour will be on hand to great people on arrival and deal with any queries. A welcome pack will be provided, and for those who enjoy fresh shellfish Mr Seymour, a working crab and lobster fisherman and is able to supply fresh crab, lobster, whelks and Bembridge prawns for visitors.
